Data Analyst and Information Manager

Experience Required

The Multinational Force and Observers seeks a Data Analyst & Information Manager (DAIM) who will be responsible for organizing data collected in the field, reviewing and validating the data, interpreting and analyzing results using statistical techniques, and creating data visualizations. The DAIM is also responsible for maintaining the data management system on SharePoint.  Previous Military/Middle East experience is an advantage. 

Education

The ideal candidate must have an advanced degree in computer science, information management, data science or a related field. He/she should have familiarity with data visualization techniques and mapping tools, SQL and commonly-used scripting languages used to produce reports, as well as proficiency in information management platforms and the Excel Analyst ToolPak.

 

The DAIM will be an integral member of the 24-member Civilian Observer Unit which conducts bi-monthly treaty verification missions and collects data to be used in reports to the Treaty Parties.

 

A two-year renewable, unaccompanied status contract including housing, meals, recreational facilities and a competitive tax-free salary is offered.

 

U.S. citizenship is mandatory.

 

This is a Salary Grade 8 position.
