The MFO speaks with Ms. Neeya Jacob, the Chief of Administration at the MFO Headquarters in Rome, regarding her journey with the organization. 

August was a month of change and new beginnings. MFO Sinai welcomed fresh faces while bidding farewell to those who completed their service. These transitions, though routine, reflect the resilience and continuity that keep our mission strong.

Training within the MFO is designed to build quick responses, refine procedures, and foster team cohesion. This focus was on display during a recent joint exercise between the Aviation Company (AVCO) and Medical Company (MEDCO).

The MFO is no stranger to a fast-paced tempo, and July was a perfect example. 

The MFO Director General, Ms. Elizabeth Dibble, the Force Commander, Major General Michael Garraway (Australia), and a variety of MFO personnel, both military and civilian, were pleased to welcome Ambassadors, Defense Attachés, and key Embassy staff from Egypt and Israel-based Embassies to the MFO’s South Camp.

On International Women’s Day, the MFO celebrates the contributions of women across our organization. Whether in Rome, Cairo, Tel Aviv, or Sinai, our female peacekeepers are essential to our mission. They positively impact how we operate, innovate, and perform.

The MFO is pleased to announce the Government of Japan’s decision to once again contribute supplemental project funding to ensure the safety of our personnel and the effectiveness of our mission.

The MFO had the great honor of hosting its Annual Plenary meeting in Rome with representatives from MFO Supporting States, including delegations from Egypt, Israel, and the United States.

It is with great sadness that the MFO notes the passing of former U.S. President Jimmy Carter, an indefatigable force for peace and a global humanitarian. There are few who have so solidly concentrated their own individual efforts on making this world a better place for all.
